EXPO Greater Amsterdam is a 24,000 sqm repurposed greenhouse. This unique event location has an industrial look and is close to Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. With a floor area of 24,000 m2, this venue is suitable as a versatile exhibition centre or event location. The front part of the location is ideal for organising conferences of up to 350 people and can be used to support events for up to 15,000 people. The large outdoor terrain, with over 21,000 sqm, is suitable for multiple purposes: from an active outdoor program to educational sessions in the park.
Unique character
The unexpected combination of the Amsterdam region and the unique architecture of a former greenhouse allows the building to bring the outside in. The green character of the location also has another aspect worth mentioning: the EXPO Greater Amsterdam roof has over 26,000 m2 of solar panels.
EXPO Greater Amsterdam has four large halls where we regularly host trade shows. The halls are easy to use together or separately. Several rooms can be used as a conference hall or meeting room.

EXPO Greater Amsterdam has over 24,000m2 of hall space that can be used separately or linked. Together, we realise a suitable setup for your event. The different rooms are easy to adjust, for larger and smaller meetings.
These spaces are multifunctional and can be used as meeting rooms, breakout rooms or for product presentations. They are also used for workshops as catering areas or any other creative idea you can think of.
In the Foyer, you immediately enter a bright, spacious reception area, which can be used as a reception room, for conferences and other business events.
The auditorium is a fully equipped conference room with mud walls. This space is suitable for conferences, symposiums, lectures or other presentations. Combine the auditorium with the halls for an optimal exhibition or corporate event.
The breakout rooms in EXPO Greater Amsterdam are suitable as meeting rooms, workshop spaces or for product presentations. The spaces can be arranged flexibly into a theatre setup, classroom setting or at random.
The EXPO Greater Amsterdam outdoor event area is used for various types of events such as festivals, trade fairs or sports events.
